CHOOSING THE RIGHT FABRIC is an exiting process of singling out colours, patterns and structures that emphasise the character of the furniture, but also reflect you and your interior. You can visit the workshop to browse through fabric samples, or simply arrange an online consultation.
Textiles and colour are best experienced in situ. We arrange for samples of your chosen fabrics to be delivered straight to your home.
dumped & ditched works with a variety of textile manufacturers, some small, some large and well known brands, some global and some local. Out of the many beautiful collections available, we have hand-picked the finest for our customers, comprising hard wearing, high quality textiles for indoor and outdoor use. We also carry a large selection of fabrics that are made from post-consumer products.
Where do we differ to most other upholsterers? We take the time to find the right fabric for you, your home and the piece of furniture. In an hour long consultancy, we look at fabrics, talk about the requirements that the fabric needs to fulfil. This can be done in person at our shop in Stanwell Park, or over the phone and online. We will send you home with samples, or get them ordered in for you. Good things take time, and we want you to be entirely sure about your choice.
You can book the consultancy, independently from getting your furniture restored through us. We have helped many clients in other states to find the right textiles, which they then used with their local upholsterer.

FABRIC CONSULTATION
As part of our design services, we offer fabric and consultations. These can be booked as a 45 min session for $120 AUD or 60 min at $180 payable upon booking. Fabric consultations are free for anyone proceeding with restoration services. Appointments available on Fridays, between 9am -3pm and Saturdays between 9:30-1pm.
